Cynosure is a blog about using Web 2.0 technologies to communicate, and in particular exploring how our personal communications are crossing over into the business world and back again.

Crystal King has been working in high-tech marketing for over 15 years. Her expertise as a marketer and critical & creative thinker entwine with her love of technology and her genuine desire to meet and learn about new people.

In addition to her work as a communicator and marketer, she has worked as an adjunct professor at BU teaching Writing for the Media Professional, adjunct professor at MassArt teaching Social Media for Artists, as a T.A. for Harvard Extension for Creativity, Geniuses, Madmen & Havard Students and an instructor at Grub Street teaching creativity courses and an introductory courses on Social Media for Writers. She has also taught business communications and critical thinking at UMass Boston.

Previously Crystal held positions at Sybase, Nexaweb, Taxware, Bowne and a handful of Internet startups such as Event Zero and Open Sesame.

Crystal has numerous publishing credits in various marketing and business publications including previous mobile marketing columns in PDA Street and iMedia Connection.

Crystal holds an M.A. in Critical & Creative Thinking from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She received her B.A. in English writing and literature with minors in communications and French from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA.
